Our Story

Whole Earth Communities was born from the recognition that conventional property development — focused solely on profit and growth — is fundamentally at odds with the long-term health of people and planet. Our founders, having spent decades working across property, ecology, and community development, saw a different path: one where development becomes a force for regeneration rather than extraction.
We set out to prove that communities designed around human wellbeing, ecological health, and genuine connection are not only possible — they are commercially superior. Our first community demonstrated that people will choose to live differently when given the opportunity, and that sustainable design commands both premium values and enduring demand.
